The 7 checks

  1. Stitching density - even, tight, no loose threads
  2. Logo geometry - match spacing to retail
  3. Colour temperature - ask for daylight if needed
  4. Hardware - heavy, evenly plated
  5. Smell / stains - request close-ups
  6. Size tag - confirm before anything else
  7. Packaging - remove if you do not need the box

When to red light: wrong size tag, permanent stain, clearly different colour shade.
